Algeria, because of its geographical location, has always been an inexhaustible source of cultural and musical encounters between East, West and deep Africa.

With Bahdja, the Algerian violinist Kheireddine Mkachiche, master of Arab-Andalusian and opening friand (L.Subramaniam, Nguyen Lee, Dhafer Youcef, Boyan Z, Jon Hassell) continues this tradition by teaming up with the talented jazzman / Belgian saxophonist and globe-trotter of world music, Manuel Hermia (Majid Bekkas, Mamady Keita, Purbajan Chatterjee).

Flirting with melodies, harmonies, rhythms and shared sensibilities, Bahdja goes beyond borders to remind us that music is universal.
